Brandon Martin is the founding member of Martin Legal Group and is Board Certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization — one of fewer than 370 attorneys in Texas to hold this designation.

Brandon's practice focuses on transactional matters in the upstream oil and gas, data center, bitcoin mining and hosting, and power sectors. He represents clients across the full transaction lifecycle — from leasing and acquisition of leasehold, minerals, and royalties to complex development agreements and operational contracts.

Brandon has represented clients in the data center and digital infrastructure space since 2017, when he advised on the development of HODL Ranch in Ward County, Texas — the first 50+ megawatt bitcoin mining facility in the Western Hemisphere. Since then, he has built one of Texas's most active practices advising data center developers on site acquisition, power and hosting agreements, development contracts, and ERCOT-related matters.

Clients rely on Brandon for his ability to translate complex energy, infrastructure, and contractual issues into clear, practical decisions in fast-moving transactions. He is licensed to practice in Texas, New Mexico, and Ohio.

In his spare time, Brandon enjoys time with his family, running and biking at White Rock Lake in Dallas, and reading.
